Lead AV Installation Technician - Contractor

Installation for Denver, Boulder, and Summit County

Job Description: Audio Video technicians will be working regularly with lead Technicians and Project Managers to complete the installation of high-end audio/video and IOT systems. You will be working in residential and commercial environments in and around Denver and Summit County

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of general experience in related A/V installations.

• Basic electrical knowledge.

• Experience working on construction sites, interfacing with contractors and other trades, knowledge of construction / building techniques and standards.

• Ability to use power tools to achieve optimal results in the finished product.

• Ability to program, understand and communicate with trades about the technology you install.

• Ability to read construction plans.

• Comfortable with scaffolding, tall ladders, and working at heights.

• Clean and valid driver’s license.

• Ability to lift and move heavy items.

Desired Qualifications:

• Internet Of Things & AV devices (Sonos, Nest, LG, Sony, Samsung)

• Experience in the installation of various speaker types on a variety of surfaces

• Knowledge of surveillance systems - HikVision, ClearView, etc….

• Wire Termination experience (Cat5 / Cat6, RG6 Coax)

• Installation of HDTV / projector / theater systems on a variety of surfaces

Job Type: Part-time / Contractual

Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 /hour

Job Description: You will be working regularly with Lead Technicians and Project Managers to complete the installation of audio video systems.  You will be working in residential and commercial environments in and around Denver.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of general experience in related high end installations

• Basic electrical knowledge

• Experience working on construction sites, interfacing with contractors and other trades, knowledge of construction / building techniques and standards

• Ability to use power tools to achieve optimal results in the finished product


• Ability to read construction and architectural plans


• Comfortable with scaffolding, tall ladders, and working at heights

• Clean and valid driver’s license, with dependable vehicle

• Ability to lift and move heavy items (50lbs +)


• Available for occasional travel and overnight stays in mountain towns

 


Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in the installation of various speaker types on a variety of surfaces

• Wire Termination experience (Cat5 / Cat6, RG6, Coax)


• Installation of HDTV / projector / theater systems on a variety of surfaces

• Up to date with smartphone apps and integration
